いよいよ12月。別名、師走。

さて、この師走、英語でどういうのか。

ネットを引くとたくさん解説が出てきますが、長かったり、難しかったり。

そこで、中学英語で、しかも６６語で、簡単に説明してみました。

これぐらいの長さなら、職場のガイジンさんに、コーヒーブレークなんかにちょっと話せるし、

へーっとウケること間違いなし！

In Japan, we call December "Shiwasu". Shi means  a priest or monk at temples and "wasu" stands for "runnning" in Kanji character.

Usually,they sit back and move slow, they have their staff go on errands.

But in December, at the end of the year, there are so many Buddist events, so even priests or monks have to run around.

That's why we call December "Shiwasu".
